 Next week I leave for Scotland to visit my wonderful In-laws It has been a long year for me and it will be so nice to see family and catch up! Im looking very forward to the trip! At the End of the Trip I get to Attend Blythecon UK, I am in Shock it managed to work out so perfectly! Im excited to have something fun coming up and to just get out of the office and have a taste of Vacation! P.S. Dont Forget that September is SAVE A LICCA MONTH!  March 17th already and it would seem the year is getting away from me a bit. I spent last weekend out in Naples with my Very Dear Friend Karin and My mom, It was a Wonderful weekend and much needed escape. But now that Im back Im trying to get the Custom work back in order. I have two girls here to be fixed up with a couple more incoming so I better get working! Just wanted to say WOW Its March and HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE!  So 2010 Ended and I barely updated the site. Its been a crazy Few months as after my Father Passed away in September we realized that Mom Really had to move in with us, We just didn't have enough funds to help her if she lived at her house. Its been a lot to handle and we still have things that have to be moved to storage every weekend. Things are starting to get a little more settled but still so much to do. Im finally back to taking a few Commissions for Blythe Faceups as time will allow so If you are looking for a OOAK Blythe Faceup please message me through my Contact form and Ill see if I can fit it into my Schedule.  1/28/44 ~ 9/4/10 Wayne F Currie . One of the saddest days I have yet to endure was the day my dad Died. I am still trying to cope with the loss. I curse every day that I didnt have more time with him. I wish it wasnt true, I wish I could bring him back, How can death be so fast? He was my Advisor, my Biggest Fan and One of my Best Friends, I will be so sad for so long but dad would want us to carry On so I have to try to be strong for him. I love you dad, You will be terribly Missed! I am slowly working through my grief but am not feeling creative at this time so Lawdeda studios will be closed until Futher Notice.  Well July Really just flew Right by! We had a very low key 4th this year and really not much happened this month EXCEPT the preplanning of a Trip to Belize with a very good friend of mine! We will be travelling to Belize Via a Princess Cruise In November! Its the biggest Trip I have planned in a while! Cant wait but well LOTS Of Saving up and selling to do to afford it with the current status of things! Wish me luck!  So Holy Smokes its June. Where in the World does time go? Had a nice May, Lots of Birthday Festivities including a lovely Trip to Boston to hang with one of my good friends. Got back and Life is just the same old thing. The good news is I got some of my customizing Mojo back so there are a couple of new customs up for Grabs. The other good news is I found a Wataru to call my own (the one pictured here is the TINY version thanks to my Boston Friend :D) Ok well not much to report so far!  I haven't been in the mood to customize for Some time, I was hoping it was the winter dull drums but well now that spring is here I'm feeling like i should stop making excuses and get working but lately I'm all annoying thumbs and nothing goes quite like it should, so I think Ill put the tools up for awhile and Enjoy some of the other silly toys that are currently residing here!  It has already seemed like we have had Winter weather forever, Too much cold, Too much rain and Im really so ready for Springtime Which lead me to think it was time for me to get working on my Spring/March/St. Patricks Day Custom. Her name was thanks to my Good friend Didi who gave me the idea while I was struggling for her name So Erin Go Braless it is, She is kind of a sexy girl, She likes making her own clothes out of ribbons or whatever she finds laying around and she LOVES To party! She just needs a couple of tweaks and she will be looking for a new Home to party at ;) Hope you like her, I was really proud of how she turned out and its my first time painting chips this way (I normally paper my chips or paint on the papers and then Adhere) So its been fun and I really love her almost final Look, Hope you do too!  I spent December selling the Blythe dolls that didnt get much love! Ended up sending 5 away to more loving Families and I think I feel really good about the decision! It Also allowed me to have just enough Funds to Adopt this most Awesome Dollie! She is a Vampire Blythe by the very Talented Cocomicchi. I positively CANT Wait to have her home! And thats pretty much all the dollie news for this month! I have something up my sleeve for my next custom too so STAY Tuned <3 |
